Click here to view the Technical Ministries Blog The church has the greatest story in the world to tell, but often does a horrible job of telling it. Technical Ministries at Abundant Life are actively being organized and expanded to maximize our ability as a church to creatively, professionally and sincerely spread the good news of Jesus Christ to a lost and desperate world.
 These support ministries, when executed with excellence, are nearly invisible. Sound, lighting, projection, and staging are critically important to the first impressions we make to our Sunday guests, especially those guests that have not been in church for a long, long time. In addition to ministries that directly impact our Sunday morning services, technical ministries serve the needs of over 35 other Abundant Life ministries throughout the week by providing technical support through information technologies, A/V technical support for weekly and special events, video production and more. Volunteers are always welcome and needed to join our existing technical ministry teams, and continue to build the foundation for some new exciting ones. We anticipate these new ministries will continue to grow as our church continues to grow. Abundant Life Church For a look at current technical ministry activities and opportunities, please check out my blog at www.coolchurchtech.com Technical Ministries volunteer opportunities: Audio Techs – Folks that run sound for Sunday mornings, mid-week programs and special events. You’ll need an ear for music and a heart for knobs. Training required and provided. Projection & lighting – Folks that make stuff show up on the big screen and the lights go off and on. You’ll need calm nerves, computer comfort and your attention deficit issues resolved. Video Ministries - Currently seeking experienced videographers, editors and producer/director types to help create video productions for Sunday Services and special events. Information Technologies (I.T.) – Help us keep pastors computers, our church network and Web-Site up and running. Network Hardware, desktop support and web team members needed.
