Through baptism, you are publicly demonstrating that you agree Jesus Christ is Lord, He died to pay for your sins, He rose from the dead, and He is alive today. You are also demonstrating that you admit God had not been first place in your life and you've asked Him to forgive your sins.
If you believe in Christ and commit to following him, you are ready to be baptized. It is one of the most exciting moments in your spiritual life!
